Working across physical material processes, constructed images, digital processes, and archival pigment prints.

Serdar Akdeniz is a contemporary artist whose practice investigates surface, time, material formation, and the conditions through which images emerge. His work moves between physical and digital processes, allowing materials, chance, observation, and controlled withdrawal to participate in the formation of an image.

Recent work extends this approach into generative AI, which he approaches not as a tool for obtaining a predetermined image, but as a second surface through which an image can emerge.
